Mooring fees to be reinstated from August 10

Braye Harbour mooring fees, suspended in June to encourage visiting yachts from within the Bailiwick, will again be payable at £20 per night from Monday, August 10^th.

Charges for use of the water taxi were reinstated from Monday, August 3^rd and the post-lockdown offer of a free crane lift for local boats returning to the water is no longer available.

By offering free moorings and free water taxi since mid-June, Braye Bay has seen an increasing number of visiting yachts from the other Bailiwick islands. However, Policy & Finance Committee decided last week (July 30^th) the time was right to reinstate the charges.
