In light of additional information which has emerged following receipt of nominations for the forthcoming by-election, the Returning Officer has concluded that Deborah Lewis has not been ordinarily resident throughout the 36 months preceding the election date as required under the Government of Alderney Law, and therefore is ineligible to stand as a candidate. As a result her name will not appear on the ballot paper.
