Connaught Extension

We are pleased to announce that following delays due to Coronavirus lockdown restrictions Phase Two of the Connaught Extension Project has now recommenced.

Phase Two incorporates the substructure build; piling, foundations, drainage and boundary walls. It will take around six months to complete.

A spokesperson for the Project Team said 'We are very pleased to say that we are now able to progress with the extension of the Connaught. The Team have overcome many and varied challenges due to this pandemic and we would like to thank all parties involved who have worked together to enable this project to continue. As we continue through this unprecedented fluid environment we are of course continuing to closely monitor the situation. Also a big thank you to all the Connaught staff, residents and volunteers for their patience throughout this period of uncertainty and unprecedented delays.

Over the coming period we will also be inviting parties to express their interest in Phase 3; Superstructure via a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PPQ) and those shortlisted will be invited to tender'.
