Yachtsman Rescued in Braye Harbour

On Saturday morning at 9.40am Alderney Coastguard were alerted to an incident within Braye Harbour.

A single yachtsman had fallen from his vessel and had to be rescued.

The single handed Yachtsman had been in the water for an extended period.

Alderney Harbour Master John Taylor, Duty Harbour Master Adam Rose with the assistance of Ben Turner rescued the yachtsman who then received treatment at the MMH.
