Temporary Harbour crane for Alderney

Unfortunately due to ongoing electrical issues with the Harbour mobile crane it has been necessary, with the assistance of Bruno Kay-Mouat and Alderney Shipping, to source a temporary crane to cover cargo deliveries to the Island.

This crane will be delivered from Jersey via a landing craft on Saturday (July 10^th) to cover cargo operations while repairs continue on the new Crane. The harbour team expects all shipping movements and island deliveries to catch up over the next few days.

"We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any disruptions suffered by local businesses during these unforeseen circumstances," a Harbour spokesman said.
