Harbour Office - Drifting vessel recovered 24.07.2021

At 19:30 yesterday evening (23rd July) the Harbour Authorities responded to a vessel that had broken its mooring in Braye Harbour during the strong NE winds. The vessel was safely recovered by the harbour team at 20:30 and laid up ashore.

The Harbour Authorities would like to remind Islanders that any vessels found washed ashore should be reported to the Harbour Office and not moved, attempting to secure a drifting vessel can be dangerous and may cause further damage to the vessel.
