States of Alderney President William Tate confirms Royal itinerary

I am delighted to confirm that Their Royal Highnesses, The Earl and Countess of Wessex will be visiting Alderney on Tuesday, May 10th, as part of Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Royal Party will arrive at Braye Common at approximately 10.30am and make their way to the bottom of Victoria Street where they will walk to the Alderney Wildlife Trust.

The Royal Party will then be driven to a Reception at the Island Hall.

After leaving the Island Hall at approximately 11.20am, Their Royal Highnesses will visit the Roman Fort at Longis where The Earl of Wessex will "break ground" for the forthcoming
Platinum Jubilee Archeological Dig.

Their Royal Highnesses will travel by train from the Platinum Jubilee Station Platform at the Arsenal to the Railway Station at Braye, where The Royal Party will depart from Braye Common at approximately 12.05pm.
