Wellbeing Survey

The Public Health Service is carrying out a Wellbeing Survey with assistance from local research company, Island Global Research.

To take the survey you must be aged 16 or over and permanently resident in Guernsey, Alderney, Herm or Jethou.

This survey has been carried out every five years since 1988 and is our main way of knowing how the health of islanders is changing and how well we are meeting health needs. Your responses represent you and people like you living in our islands and will help us to:

  • plan and improve services

  • address the public health issues that matter most to you

The survey can be completed by following the link: http://survey.islandglobalresearch.com/s3/Wellbeing2018

It will take roughly 20 - 30 minutes to complete and will ask a range of questions on various topics relevant to health, such as; diet, physical activity, stress, mental health and household finances.

Those who take the survey online will have the option of entering a prize draw to win a cash prize of £100 (to be drawn in November 2018).

We want to hear from as many people as possible. If you would like the questionnaire in a different format, for example, a paper copy, in large print, or in a different language, please contact us by emailing healthy.living@gov.gg or call us on 707311. We will provide you with a postage paid envelope so that you can return this to us at no cost.

This survey will close on 31st October 2018 and results will be published on the page https://gov.gg/wellbeingsurvey in Spring 2019.
