Safeguarding Sites, the IHRA Charter for best practice

From the 7th to the 9th of July, I will be hosting a visit of The Rt Hon the Lord Eric Pickles, U.K. Special Envoy for Post-Holocaust Issues, Sally Sealey, Head of Secretariat, U.K. Holocaust Memorial Foundation and Dr. Gilly Carr, PhD, Mphil, BSc, University of Cambridge and Channel Island Representative on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.

The party are visiting as part of the IHRA Safeguarding Sites Project to update Members of the States and the community on the progress of the project since their last visit in 2019.

During the visit they will engage with States Members and stakeholders. Members of the community are invited to a public meeting in the Island Hall at 7pm. on Thursday the 8th of July, to meet the delegates who will give a presentation on the Project and its progress.
