States of Alderney takes its drop-in 'surgery' to the Care Home

Next week's States of Alderney drop-in 'surgery' is to take place at the Connaught Care Home instead of the Island Hall.

A one-off change of venue was suggested by residents who find it difficult to get to the Island Hall for the weekly one-to-one consultations on any matter relating to States business.

Members take it in turns to listen to the views of the public and answer questions on Fridays between 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Next week (June 9th) it's the turn of Policy & Finance Chair Nigel Vooght who agreed to hold the surgery at the Connaught. Members of the public are welcome to attend alongside Care Home residents.
